CELEBRATE THE BEAT PROVIDES THE HIGHEST QUALITY IN-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL DANCE PROGRAMS FOR ALL CHILDREN THAT IMPROVES THEIR PHYSICAL HEALTH AND WELL BEING, INSPIRES THEM TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES, AND ESTABLISHES A STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE THAT IMPACTS ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR LIVES.
Click “play” and experience the JOY and PASSION in our children as they learn how to learn through a program that can change the trajectory of their lives. And know that no child ever pays a penny for our classes.
Music and dance classes elicit in students a personal standard of excellence, using dance as the medium to teach children valuable life lessons: that energy, discipline, teamwork, commitment and trying your hardest can lead to success.
Founded by Tracy Straus in 2000, Celebrate The Beat was initially an outreach program for the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. In 2004, after witnessing the profound impact of her efforts, Ms. Straus decided to dance her way to independence, registering Celebrate The Beat as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Celebrate The Beat is proud to collaborate with Associates of National Dance Institute in teaching exchanges and to share best practices in dance education. All dance programs and techniques utilized by Celebrate The Beat are inspired by the award winning National Dance Institute.
OUR PROGRAMS
Exhilarating. Stimulating. Challenging. Engaging.
Celebrate The Beat offers an array of awe-inspiring and all-inclusive in-school, after-school, and summer music and dance programs. Students are joyfully challenged to develop healthy living habits, collaborative skills, cultural literacy, critical thinking, confidence, and much more. Our classes are led by a team of skilled professionals comprised of a master teaching artist/ choreographer, a live musician, and an assistant teaching artist. Even the press goes crazy for Celebrate the Beat.

IN-SCHOOL & AFTER-SCHOOL
During the 2018–2019 school year, Celebrate The Beat will be dancing alongside over 3,500 students in grades K-10 in 25 schools located in communities throughout Colorado and Mexico. Our three to thirty week programs don’t just supplement the core school curriculum, they lead by example. Just ask any student or teacher involved. Children return to their core classes and homes energized and focused, ready to tackle any challenge that dances their direction.
