Summer Programming

A free arts education dance program in partnership with the Vail Dance Festival, Celebrate the Beat Eagle County. Pop Hop is a one-week program focused on teamwork, creativity, and the joy of accomplishment through dance. This program culminates in a performance at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater during Vail Dance Festival’s International Evenings of Dance.

Program Duration: August 3rd - 7th, 2026

Times: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Performance: Friday August 7th, 2026 at the Ford Amphitheater

Ages: 9+

This is a scholarship program, at no cost to the families.

You will be notified via email whether your child has been accepted into the program or placed on the waitlist. A total of 120 dancers will be accepted. Please note that in the past four years, everyone on the waitlist has eventually been admitted into the program.

 Join us for CTB Summer Programming and dance with us! This program is for children ages 9-13.  We’ll wrap up the summer programming with a performance at the 4th of July Parade in Frisco!

Performance: Saturday: July 4th 11am - 2pm, Frisco

Ages: 9-13

Ages: 4-6

Designed especially for young children, this creative movement experience sparks joy, imagination, and confidence. Our focus isn’t classical technique or training future dancers — it’s nurturing physical, emotional, and social development through joyful movement.

Each day includes:

45 minutes of Dance for Joy

Bilingual story time with movement and music

Outdoor adventures (park walks, yoga, scavenger hunts, Main Street strolls, and even an ice cream outing!)

Snack provided daily

Families are invited on Day 5 for a special 30-minute observation (time TBD).

Cost: $150.00

*All proceeds from camp support Celebrate the Beat's in-school program and teacher training here in Summit County.
