The first woman professional baseball player
What do the arts bring to your life?
A sense of aliveness and joy that I experience from nothing else.
Why Celebrate the Beat?
The number one reason is the access to ALL children. Being a small part of a child's first experience in the arts is a beautiful thing to witness, and a blessing to be a part of. I'm am rewarded on a daily basis watching CTB in action, changing lives, right there in that first class, that first performance, or that first year! If we are lucky enough to watch that child dance with us for years, a profound transformation is made in that child that lives in my heart forever.
